California's General Election is on November 5, 2024
California’s General Election is on Tuesday November 5, 2024.
All registered voters will receive a general election vote-by-mail ballot.
Ballots will be mailed out starting October 5, 2024.
Vote-by-mail drop boxes will open in early October 2024.
Early in-person voting at Vote Centers throughout Los Angeles County will begin late October 2024.
Your ballot must be postmarked by or dropped in a ballot drop box or vote center by November 5, 2024.

Where to vote
Voting is easier than ever. You can fill out your vote-by-mail ballot at home and drop it off at any secure drop-box, or you can vote-in-person at any Vote Center in Los Angeles County.
All ballot drop-boxes open early October, 2024.
All Vote Centers open for in-person voting starting late October, 2024.
You don’t have an assigned polling place or drop-box. That means you can drop off your ballot at any drop box in LA County, and you can vote at any Vote Center in LA County.
